The present book is entitled Embers because it was written precisely with the hope of setting hearts on fire. As we all know, only a small quantity of embers is needed to start a raging blaze. In the case of the Scriptures, one single verse can change forever the entire course of a person’s life.
The Embers offered here will hopefully enkindle the hearts of people of all ages and from all walks of life. They are intended for the reflection of the serious Bible student, the inspiration of the homilist and, last but not least, the devotion of the seeker of God.
